First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding cold sponging to standard fever medicine (paracetamol) helps children cool down faster. About 210 children aged 6 months to 5 years with a fever will be split into two groups: one gets medicine only, the other gets medicine plus cold sponging. The main goal is to see if the combination brings fever below 38°C within 60 minutes more effectively.
