First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding cold sponging to standard fever medicine (paracetamol) helps lower fever faster in children aged 6 months to 5 years. About 210 children with fever will be split into two groups: one gets only medicine, the other gets medicine plus cold sponging. The goal is to see which approach brings the temperature below 38°C within 60 minutes more effectively.
