Summary
This study looked at whether giving pregnant mothers extra oxygen can increase oxygen levels in the brains of fetuses with congenital heart disease. Researchers used MRI and ultrasound to measure changes in 53 fetuses. The goal is to find out if this approach could one day be used as a treatment to support brain growth before birth.
