Summary
This study tests a new way to detect fetal anemia using ultrasound. The new method measures the time it takes for blood to speed up in a brain artery, which may show anemia earlier than the current standard. The study will include 20 fetuses with anemia or high blood flow, and will compare the new method to the existing one. If successful, this could help doctors decide sooner if a blood transfusion is needed.
