NCT ID NCT07238322

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special PET scan using a tracer called [18F]FET can accurately tell the difference between a returning brain tumor (glioma) and harmless changes caused by previous treatment. Researchers will review existing scan data from 400 patients of all ages who had glioma and showed suspicious MRI results after initial therapy. The goal is to improve diagnosis and avoid unnecessary treatments.
