First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This early-phase study at Mayo Clinic will test whether a special PET scan (FET PET/CT) can better locate ACTH-secreting pituitary adenomas in 50 adults with Cushing disease who are scheduled for surgery. The goal is to see how accurate the scan is compared to standard MRI and final surgical findings. If successful, it could improve surgical planning and outcomes.
