First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two treatments—Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) and Whole Body Vibration Training (WBVT)—to see which better improves leg control, balance, and daily activities in people who had a stroke 6 months to 1 year ago. Thirty-four adults aged 35 to 70 will receive one of the therapies 4 days a week for 8 weeks. The goal is to find a more effective way to help stroke survivors regain movement and independence.
