Shocking stroke rehab: electric arm bike trial aims to boost recovery

Summary
This study tests whether adding mild electrical stimulation to arm cycling exercise helps people recovering from a stroke improve their fitness and arm function. About 24 participants with subacute stroke will receive standard rehab plus either arm cycling alone or arm cycling with electrical stimulation. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better aerobic capacity and arm movement.
