Could a simple hormone boost double your chances of a baby?
NCT ID NCT05080569
Summary
This study is testing whether adding progesterone hormone support after a common fertility treatment (IUI with mild ovarian stimulation) helps more couples achieve pregnancy and live birth. It will involve over 1,000 couples in the Netherlands with unexplained infertility. Half will receive the hormone (Utrogestan) and half will receive a placebo, to see which group has better outcomes over six months of treatment.
