New IVF hormone strategy tested to boost pregnancy odds for women over 35

NCT ID NCT04719000

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a hormone called recombinant LH to the standard fertility medication (FSH) improves outcomes for women over 35 who had a lower-than-expected number of eggs retrieved in a previous IVF cycle. The goal is to see if this personalized approach leads to better egg quality and higher pregnancy rates. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard medication or the standard medication plus the added LH hormone.
