New test could help young women beat uterine cancer and still have babies

NCT ID NCT06799624

Summary

This study aims to see if analyzing the genetic makeup of a uterine tumor can help doctors better predict which young women will respond well to fertility-preserving hormone treatments. It will enroll 100 women aged 18-45 with early-stage endometrial cancer who wish to have children in the future. The goal is to use this 'molecular classification' to personalize treatment, potentially improving cancer outcomes while preserving the ability to get pregnant.
