Frozen hope: new study banks young Boys' tissue for future fertility

Summary

This study collects and freezes testicular tissue from boys who are not yet producing sperm and are at risk of infertility due to cancer or autoimmune disease treatments. The tissue is stored in a lab for possible future use to help them have biological children once experimental techniques become available. The goal is to preserve the stem cells needed for sperm production.
