First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating fermented foods (like yogurt, kimchi, and sauerkraut) can help people with rectal or lung cancer respond better to their standard treatments. About 39 patients will either add these foods to their diet or continue eating normally. Researchers will check if the diet improves tumor shrinkage, gut health, and quality of life.
