First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether transplanting healthy donor stool into the gut can safely control ulcerative colitis symptoms over the long term and reduce the need for steroids. About 30 people aged 10–80 with mild to moderate disease will receive the treatment and be followed for 48 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach can keep the disease in remission without ongoing steroid use.
