First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 7-day course of antibiotics tailored to a person's stool test works as well as a 14-day course for treating H. pylori infection. About 544 adults who have not been treated before will provide a stool sample to guide their medication. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment is just as effective, safer, and more cost-effective.
