First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether fear of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) changes how the heart works, how active kids are, and how well they can exercise. About 67 children and teens aged 10-18 with type 1 diabetes will answer surveys and have their heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels measured. The goal is to understand if this fear has physical effects, not to test a new treatment.
