First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called FDY-5301 in 120 adults who had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI) and were undergoing a procedure to open blocked arteries. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce dangerous heart rhythm problems and limit heart muscle damage compared to a placebo. The trial has been completed, and results will help determine if further testing is warranted.
