New study aims to ease chronic fatigue with simple therapy

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of talking therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy) can help reduce severe fatigue in primary care patients. About 190 adults aged 18-67 with long-lasting fatigue will either get the therapy or usual care. The goal is to see if the therapy improves fatigue and daily functioning over 6 months, with follow-ups up to 5 years.
