NCT ID NCT04806022
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at how two types of fatigue—mental and muscle—affect the ability of older adults to walk and do a simple counting task at the same time. Sixty-six healthy volunteers (young and old) completed walking and counting tests before and after being mentally or physically tired. The goal was to see if fatigue changes performance and could affect fall risk assessments.
