New program for fathers aims to break cycle of family violence

Summary
This study compares a program called Fathers for Change (F4C) with standard batterer intervention for fathers who have a history of intimate partner violence. The goal is to see if F4C better reduces violence and improves children's mental health. About 1,080 fathers with a child aged 6 months to 12 years will participate. The program focuses on helping fathers manage their emotions and reflect on their actions.
