Summary

This study looks at whether special programs for fathers can help families in the Bronx and nearby areas who are at risk for drug or alcohol problems. About 240 fathers will be split into two groups: one gets standard services, the other gets extra support like motivation sessions, fatherhood classes, and case management. The goal is to see if these programs improve children's behavior and strengthen the bond between father and child.
