Diet showdown: fasting vs mediterranean for weight loss

NCT ID NCT07250659

Summary

This study compared two popular diet approaches for managing obesity: intermittent fasting and the Mediterranean diet. Researchers followed 120 obese adults for 4 weeks, with half following a time-restricted eating schedule and half following a structured Mediterranean meal plan. Both groups reduced their daily calories by 500, and researchers measured weight changes to see which approach worked better.
