Can skipping midnight snacks fight cancer treatment side effects?

NCT ID NCT07462403

Summary

This study is testing whether a phone-based coaching program can help men on hormone therapy for prostate cancer. Participants work with a coach to gradually extend their overnight fasting period, aiming for 16 hours each night, and report their progress via text messages. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable for managing common side effects of the therapy, such as weight gain and increased diabetes risk.
