First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study aims to better understand why some people experience dangerously low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and find better ways to diagnose and treat it. Up to 1,500 adults with confirmed low fasting blood sugar or insulin-secreting tumors will undergo supervised fasting and detailed blood tests. The goal is to improve care and resolve hypoglycemia, though ongoing management may still be needed.
