Can a fake fast boost kidney cancer treatment?

Summary
This study looks at whether a special 5-day low-calorie diet, called a fasting-mimicking diet, can make standard first-line cancer drugs work better for people with advanced kidney cancer that has spread or cannot be removed. About 43 adults will receive the diet along with the drugs toripalimab and axitinib. The main goal is to check safety and side effects, and also to see if the combination improves tumor shrinkage or delays cancer growth.
