This study is testing whether a protein called NMAP, measured in a blood sample, can help tell apart people with newly diagnosed kidney cancer from those without cancer. Researchers will compare NMAP levels in about 400 adults — half with kidney cancer and half without — to see how accurately the protein signals the disease. If NMAP proves reliable, it might one day become a simple, non-invasive tool for catching kidney cancer earlier.
