Summary
This study looks at what happens to your body and well-being during and after a long fast of 5 or more days. About 300 adults who are overweight or have diabetes will follow a supervised fast at a clinic, then slowly reintroduce food. Participants will answer online surveys, wear a blood sugar monitor, take photos of meals, and do simple at-home blood tests for up to three months. The goal is to understand how fasting affects weight, metabolism, and daily life, and to offer practical advice for people interested in fasting.
