5-Day brain zap offers new hope for untreatable depression
NCT ID NCT04684706
Summary
This study is testing a faster version of a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment for people with severe depression that hasn't improved with standard medications. Researchers are giving the treatment over just 5 days instead of the usual 6 weeks to see if it works better and faster. The goal is to reduce depressive symptoms in people who have not found relief from other options.
