Researchers test speeding up depression treatment

NCT ID NCT06961851

Summary

This small, early study explored whether a faster schedule of magnetic brain stimulation (aTMS) could be a practical and effective treatment for depression. It involved 11 patients and also gathered feedback from clinic staff and other patients. The goal was to see if this condensed approach could reduce the burden of the standard 7-week treatment, which requires daily clinic visits.
