Race against time: new hospital setup aims to save more stroke patients

NCT ID NCT07456228

Summary

This study is testing if a new, faster emergency room setup helps people recover better from a major type of stroke. It compares a 'one-stop' room where diagnosis and treatment happen immediately to the standard process where patients are moved between different hospital areas. The goal is to see if the faster process leads to more patients being independent 90 days after their stroke.
