New scan could speed up Life-Saving diagnosis after cardiac arrest
NCT ID NCT07388342
Summary
This study is testing a new, faster type of CT scan to quickly check for blocked heart arteries in people who have survived a cardiac arrest. The goal is to see if this scan is as accurate as the current, more complex test (coronary angiography) at finding blockages. If it works, it could help doctors decide faster which patients need urgent treatment to open a blocked artery.
