Cancer researchers test speeding up Life-Saving drug dosing

NCT ID NCT04843904

Summary

This study is testing a faster, daily schedule for increasing the dose of the drug venetoclax in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The goal is to see if this accelerated 5-day schedule is as safe as the standard 5-week schedule, especially for patients with different risks of a side effect called tumor lysis syndrome. About 40 adults with newly diagnosed or returning CLL/SLL will participate.
