First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving overweight teens free fruits and vegetables from a local farm for 8 weeks can help them eat more produce and improve their blood pressure and weight. About 50 teens aged 12-17 will get weekly produce and watch educational videos. Researchers will measure changes in diet, blood pressure, and BMI, and see how many families stick with the program.
