Doctors prescribe farm veggies to fight teen obesity
NCT ID NCT07218588
Summary
This study is testing whether giving overweight teens free fruits and vegetables from a local farm for 8 weeks, along with educational videos, helps them eat healthier and improves their blood pressure and weight. Researchers will track 50 teens to see if they pick up their weekly produce, watch the videos, and if their health measures change. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and effective for encouraging better eating habits in adolescents.
