First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether far infrared eye masks placed on acupoints around the eyes could improve dry eye symptoms. 31 adults with dry eye disease used the masks, and researchers measured tear film stability, gland health, and symptom scores before and after one month of treatment. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive approach could offer relief.
