Suction showdown: which new device crushes kidney stones best?

Summary

This study compares two new suction-equipped tools (FANS and CVAC) for removing medium-to-large kidney stones. About 159 adults with stones 8-20 mm will be randomly assigned to one device. The main goal is to see which tool leaves the kidney more stone-free, as confirmed by CT scan.
