New radiation combo aims to shrink lung tumors faster with less lung damage

Summary
This study tests a new way of giving radiation (high and low doses mixed) along with chemotherapy and immunotherapy before standard treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to shrink tumors more quickly and reduce the risk of lung inflammation from radiation. About 70 adults with stage III or select stage IV lung cancer will take part.
