Summary
This study is testing a text- and web-based tool called FamilyCHESS, designed for a person with opioid use disorder and a supportive family member or friend. The goal is to see if using this tool helps the patient start medication treatment (MOUD) sooner and stay on it longer. Researchers will measure outcomes like treatment start dates, days on medication, quality of life, and opioid use.
