First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study created and tested a mobile health program for family caregivers of people with dementia who are at risk for delirium—a sudden, serious confusion. Researchers worked with 8 caregivers to design the program, then tested it with 33 caregivers to see if it was easy to use and helpful. The goal was to see if the program could help caregivers feel more confident in detecting, preventing, and managing delirium at home.
