Summary

This study looks at whether a new training program for nurses, called PACT, helps them provide better care that includes the patient's family. Nurses and family caregivers of people with advanced gastrointestinal cancer will take part. The goal is to see if the training improves how nurses work with families and if that leads to better outcomes for caregivers.
