Summary
This study is testing whether involving a person's family can help them better manage type 2 diabetes. Researchers will work with 75 adults from rural Kentucky who have diabetes to create personalized nutrition and exercise plans for their entire household to follow for six months. The main goal is to see if this family-focused approach improves blood sugar control and weight.
