Summary
This study tested whether using computer predictions and camera monitoring could help prevent falls in hospital patients. Over 5,000 adult patients and their nurses took part across three hospital units. Each unit used a different fall prevention method: a risk alert system, camera visualization, or both. The goal was to see which approach reduced falls and injuries while also easing the workload for nurses.
