Could a simple selfie help spot hidden heart disease?

NCT ID NCT06850233

Summary

This study tested whether a computer algorithm could accurately screen for coronary artery disease using only facial photographs. It involved 100 people from the community who were already at some risk for heart disease. The goal was to see if this photo-based method could be a quick, non-invasive first step in identifying people who might need further heart testing.
