Summary
This small pilot study tested whether healthy adults could safely and comfortably exercise on a treadmill with their eyes closed, compared to a normal eyes-open session. Forty participants completed four treadmill workouts, two with eyes closed and two with eyes open. The study measured safety, how people felt, and whether the eyes-closed approach was acceptable. It was designed to gather initial data, not to treat any condition.
