Scientists track eye movements to unlock Alzheimer's visual mysteries

NCT ID NCT02941289

Summary

This study aimed to understand how Alzheimer's disease affects visual attention and search abilities. Researchers tracked eye movements of 48 participants (including Alzheimer's patients and healthy controls) while they searched for objects on a computer screen and in real-world settings. The goal was to learn how visual search difficulties might relate to problems with memory and performing everyday tasks.
