New scanners aim for sharper eye disease pictures
NCT ID NCT07338461
Summary
This study is testing two new eye scanning machines to see if they can take better pictures of the back of the eye than a currently approved machine. It will involve about 97 adults, including people with healthy eyes and those with conditions like age-related macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy. The main goal is to compare the quality and detail of the images produced by the different scanners.
