Scientists use High-Tech scans to decode eye disease changes

NCT ID NCT04505618

Summary

This study aims to improve how doctors track eye diseases by using advanced, non-invasive imaging scans. Researchers will follow 1,050 people, including healthy volunteers and those with conditions like diabetic retinopathy, to see how blood vessels in the eye change over time. The goal is to create better guidelines for spotting when a disease is getting worse or responding to treatment.
