Simple neck band may soothe nighttime GERD troubles

Summary

This study tests if wearing a special band around the outside of the throat can reduce nighttime symptoms of acid reflux, like coughing, choking, or a lump in the throat. Researchers will enroll 350 adults with GERD and track how their symptoms change. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to ease discomfort.
