Pill power: could extra days of a common drug speed up knee surgery recovery?

NCT ID NCT06894719

Summary

This study is testing whether taking oral tranexamic acid (TXA) pills for 3 or 7 days after a total knee replacement helps patients recover better. Researchers want to see if this extended use improves pain, knee movement, and overall function in the weeks and months after surgery. The study will compare these patients to others who receive a placebo pill.
