Summary

This study looked at whether giving insulin slowly over time (extended bolus) helps teenagers with type 1 diabetes control blood sugar after eating high-fat, high-protein meals like pizza. Thirty teens using a closed-loop insulin system participated. The goal was to find a way to prevent high blood sugar after meals and avoid dangerous low blood sugar.
