First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether losing weight over two years can improve how the kidneys use oxygen and how the body responds to insulin in people with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) who are overweight. Researchers will use PET scans and insulin tests to measure changes. The goal is to understand if weight loss might help slow kidney damage in this condition.
